Waterloo Construction continues to remain strong - August 2008 The City continues with good numbers for the 2008 construction season. Last year's $181 million record-breaking season, helped in large part by the Isle of Capri Casino, was the 4th straight record-breaking year and 4th straight year over $100 million. This year, all areas seem strong with new construction underway or planned:
Waterloo Construction Remains Strong - City Bullish For 2007Building permits in the City of Waterloo continues to break previous year records topping out at $110.1 million for the City's fiscal year ending June 30, 2006. The City is optimistic about the 2006-2007 fiscal year... believing that $150 million in building permit value is probable given planned commercial development expected in the City.
